A lot of Filipinos are switching now to facebook, will this be the end of Friendster domination in the Philippines. I, myself personally getting hooked with a lot of social networking sites ( facebook, myspace, multiply, friendster... etc. name it.) I find it really cool and amazing how communication grows in such a fast paced rate. Going back to Facebook, a lot of users have observed a great change and development on its interface not to mention its interactive features that will just make you end up saying “wow”. Who can deny the amount of excitement as you play your avatar on Farmville, pet society, and yoville? Facebook team just discovered how to tickle its users by offering them more entertainment without disregarding its real purpose. Expectation of growth on Facebook users in the Philippines can be perceive on the years to come. This could also be a great challenge for friendster. But for now, let’s just continue to enjoy the benefits of all the social networking sites on the internet.

Hi Jerome, it's me your Kuya Jay Arr. I personally love Facebook but am not leaving nor deleting my Friendster account. These sites have been very special to me cause they've made it possible to make my world smaller and me and you guys closer.
You know what, last week I searched for and added people/strangers in Facebook with surname same as mine ("Ibong"). Surprisingly, I found so many of them! I never imagined in my life that the number of Ibongs in the Philippines could exceed ten and they might even be related to me, could you believe that? So it's true what my father (RIP) said, that our clan emanated from Tanza - Rosario, Cavite area (FYI: I've never been there =p ). We're lucky to live in this generation when internet has evolved from just being what could have been a rubbish luxury to something that really makes sense and even luckier that guys like you are there to inspire others and continue the trend.
